EFG Europe and Denny & Son Ltd is the perfect match

With their drive and ambition for delivering the finest in design solutions at world-class events efg Europe are delighted to be working with Denny & Son Ltd and as a result The All England Lawn Tennis Club, home of the world-renowned Wimbledon Championships.

Based at The All England Lawn Tennis Club in Wimbledon, Denny & Son Ltd is contracted to provide both interior and exterior planted displays and features for the world's most prestigious tennis tournament. The company is also responsible for planting throughout the year at the venue.

Both efg Europe and Denny & Son Ltd are long established family businesses. Denny & Son was founded 63 years ago by Roger Denny's father. Roger Denny took over the reins 25 years ago and significantly expanded the business whilst maintaining strong links with Wimbledon. Roger Denny comments, “Charlie [efg’s Chairman and Creative Director] and I had spoken about joining forces a while back and now seemed the right time for both of us. We both feel very comfortable that there is a good balance of minds and skills within the two businesses”.

The merger of the two operations enables efg to secure a permanent 12-strong team based at The All England Lawn Tennis Club, combined with full administrative support and nursery facilities in Warwickshire and a wider support network around the UK and in The Netherlands.

As much of the work currently carried out by Denny & Son comprises of permanent landscaping, it was a natural progression for Emma Jones, who is currently efg Eden's sales manager, to be chosen to front this new company on a daily basis. Over the coming months, Emma will be working closely with Roger Denny, the current owner and MD, to learn the ropes whilst efg’s Chairman and Creative Director, Charlie Cox will be involved in the key decision making, strengthening ties within Wimbledon and assisting with creative designs and inspirational ideas to develop the company for the future.

Efg Europe comprises of three main divisions, Expo Flora, Prestige and Eden. Expo Flora provide feature work, planted displays, stand dressing and corporate branding within the exhibition and events field. Prestige, the creative side of the business specializes in set design and build and bespoke theming. Their long term and permanent landscaping division Eden, is involved in interior and exterior projects, landscape architecture, rental and maintenance contracts.
